This is not a simple yes or no when dealing with reducing defense spending or an income tax increase. We need to thoroughly look at all options that may include a little of both. We need to get away from either or and look for solutions that are sustainable.

Lowering taxes for whom? Are we talking small businesses as an incentive for job creation - it is a definite possibility. If there is supporting data to show the sustainability of tax incentives or decreases then it is something that should be looked at.

These are based on an outsiders knowledge of federal spending - because I believe that there needs to be serious conversations all of the ratings are negotiable.
Jobs, economy and infrastructure are a few of many priorities but ultimately Washington sitting down and working together. Until the lines of communication are re-established we will continue to see grid-lock.
